How to start rowing at MCSBC
In the summer term school students are given the chance to join Monmouth Comprehensive School Boat Club.
To join the rowing club simply contact the coach Mr Eddolls (see contact page for his details) or in Room 77 in the ICT (Pegasus) block. Just pop into Mr Cowton's room and ask for a leaflet about the club. You can also send an email by using the Contacts page of this website. Simply put the subject as 'Junior Club' and leave your name and form and we shall contact you soon.
Every pupil wishing to participate in the junior club must pass a swim test (100 metres) for safety reasons.
At the end of the summer term, pupils who have done well over the summer term and wish to continue are invited to join the main racing squad.
